1. Purpose and Scope of the Policy

Within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law, Personal Data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. According to the provisions of the Law, the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system is defined as the data controller. Our company is the Data Controller.

This document (“Policy”) has been prepared to inform individuals whose personal data are processed by our Company as the data controller in accordance with Article 10 of the Law. Huntur reserves the right to update this Personal Data Protection Statement at any time in line with changes in the legislation.

2. Methods of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Grounds

Huntur collects personal data through the www.huntur.com.tr website, mobile applications, social media accounts, cookies, call center, official notifications, and other communication channels in audio, electronic, or written form; for purposes such as establishing a commercial relationship, job applications, submitting offers, and similar interactions, in accordance with the conditions set out in the Personal Data Protection Law.

Various laws regulate the use of personal data. Primarily, the principles are determined by the Personal Data Protection Law. In addition, Law No. 6563 on Electronic Commerce includes provisions on personal data protection. Criminal sanctions are also foreseen under the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237.

Data collection is also required to fulfill obligations arising from the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation.

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

According to the Law, personal data cannot be processed without the explicit consent of the data subject.

Huntur may record, store, update, disclose, transfer, classify, and process your personal data within the scope permitted by law.
